CP and whether or not to wear a medi bracelet

(have just ordered this medi bracelet)
Hi Guys,
Just before going to bed (it is just after 1am here!) way past bed time for me I wanted to share my thoughts on something..... I have just made the decision to order a medi bracelet.... Why I hear you ask, well let me explain as much as Cerebral Palsy is a physical condition it is also a medical one too and I'm very open with you all about the fact that as part of my CP I do sometimes have spasms that can look (but not always like seizures but let me assure you they are not) and they are sometimes servere and painful enough that I will lose the ability to communicate, so at least if anything does happen the bracelet can be flipped and people can see I have CP and that I'm on Baclofen.
There have have been moments where something has happened (spasms on trains) and have had no info on what my condition is or any meds if I'm on any so that is the reason for the bracelet.... To be honest having gone through what I have the last few months I'm not sure why the decision was not made sooner and I recommend that everyone with a condition consider this because you never know when you will be caught out!

Better get some sleep!

  1. It's a good idea, Sammy. And that's a groovy looking medi-bracelet!
