Born this way- Lady Gaga. Learn to love who we are as individuals disabled or not....

Hi Guys,

I know that this track from lady Gaga has caused a lot of fuss, particularly the video because of the revealing nature.... But this song is so appropriate for the disabled community... I say this because there are a lot of people out there with disabilities that have trouble accepting or embracing their conditions (I know that it has taken me ages to embrace my CP) and through my facebook I read of parents of special needs kids fighting for equal rights, those rights that able-bodied people take very much for granted.

For example access to mainstream education, or access to accessible and reliable public transport, this is why I write my blogs and make my video updates in the hope that by sharing my life will cause people to take notice that despite the fact that I am physically a little different I still have the same desires, dreams, ambitions and responsibilities as able-bodied people....

Bottom line is that we are all beautiful people and god made us the way we are for a reason and sometimes that reason is not entirely clear, but we need to embrace who we are because we were born that way!
